Book now for our training events next Summer.

Together we’ll do a deep dive into these important issues, to gain insight and understanding for ourselves, and to learn how we can have meaningful conversations about these topics in our spheres of influence. We’ll look at a framework for thinking through challenging questions and discover how we can respond with sincere, credible and helpful answers.

Summer School Format

If you’ve been in previous years, you might notice some changes this time.

Tuesday Dinner

We’re beginning on Tuesday evening with a special dinner at Rhodes House.  This will be a great time to meet the OCCA team and one another, to settle into Oxford and prepare ourselves for the week ahead.

Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

For three days we will meet at St Ebbes Church for our Summer School.   This will be an intense time of learning and training, where we find intellectual stimulation and spiritual encouragement.

Each day, we’ll have morning devotions, followed by a variety of lectures, workshops, discussion groups, and Q&A sessions. A detailed schedule will be shared closer to the time, as plans are being put together over the winter.

On Saturday we are opening up the event into a Day Conference at the University Examination Schools.  We will be inviting people from all over, including the local churches, to join us for a day of training and encouragement.

We’re aware that it can be expensive to spend a week in Oxford and so we work hard to keep the cost down. The OCCA Dinner, lunches and refreshments are included, but delegates will need to find their own accommodation and evening meals.

The ticket price this year is: £625 (£200 less than last year), which includes a ticket to the Day Conference on Saturday.

Early-bird pricing: £575 (a £50 discount) until February 29th

We want this conference to be available to anyone. If the cost is barrier for you, please get in touch about a bursary.

Delegates should source their own accommodation. In the coming weeks, we will provide some updated recommendations for different options that may be helpful.
