Confident Faith: Apologetics for Everyone

We’re passionate about engaging the heartfelt questions people have about the Christian faith and helping others do the same, so we’ve made a free course for churches and small groups.

Over six sessions, Confident Faith explores the reasons behind Christian belief and how to articulate them clearly and persuasively, delving into topics like the existence of God, the reliability of the Bible, the problem of suffering, and more…

Our hope is that at the end of this course, learners will be equipped to engage confidently with the tough questions people have about God, Jesus, and the Bible because people’s questions matter and heartfelt questions deserve thoughtful answers.

So whether you’re just starting to explore the Christian faith or you’ve been a Christian for a while, we’d love for you to join us.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

This course is available completely free of charge. We hope that it is a blessing for your church or small group. We love making courses like this and this year we’ll be filming and releasing two brand new Essentials courses. It takes over 60 hours of work to make each of these videos. If you’d like to partner with us so we can make more series, you can find out ways to support us.

Use the form above to let us know a little about your church or small group and you’ll immediately be taken to all six course videos and study guides on a single page. You’ll receive a confirmation email with the same page link where you can return each week to watch the next chapter. We want to make it as easy as possible to access the course, so the videos are hosted on YouTube. You’ll be able to watch them with your group on any device or TV that supports YouTube. If you know you won’t have a good internet connection, there are also links to download the complete video files ahead of time. If it would be easier for your group to have the videos on a USB drive, we’re also happy to help make that possible; just let us know in the form above.

Yes! We love hearing feedback and learning about how we can improve the courses and make them more helpful in the future. We’re currently filming additional series and we would be grateful for your input. Email us at courses@theocca.org

Absolutely, please share this course with anyone you think will benefit from it or in general on social media. It is free for anyone to access. The shareable link is: www.theocca.org/essentials.

Of course. This course and study guides are designed for small groups and a key part of the curriculum is structured time to discuss with others what you are learning. With that in mind, you are welcome to complete the course on your own, but you may find it helpful to bring the questions to others. Some small group leaders also feel more comfortable going through the course ahead on their own before leading their group, but this isn’t necessary; the study guides are built so that you and your group can go through the course each week without any prep.
