Meet Tara!

Tara is an incredible part of the Reboot team (OCCA’s youth initiative), serving as our Reboot Administrator. She brings such clarity and organisation to everything she does, always with warmth, grace and a good level of banter. She is passionate about helping young people discover who Jesus is for themselves.

Tara joined our Summer Conference in 2023 and completed the OCCA Foundational Apologetics Course in Autumn 2023. She is a hospital pharmacist from Australia who moved to the UK following God’s prompting to become more equipped in theology and apologetics. She is now currently working part-time for the Commonwealth Pharmacists Association in addition to her role here at OCCA.

Through her work with the CPA, she’s been delivering workshops in Malawi, Zimbabwe, and Nepal for healthcare professionals, university professors, and lecturers. Over the past year, she’s been involved in developing the content for these workshops, known collectively as Data for Action. The programme consists of four modules aimed at combating antimicrobial resistance by equipping professionals to collect and analyse antimicrobial use data and apply it to practice. The workshops also cover leadership in healthcare and include a module on behaviour change, led by a health psychologist. Tara has a particular interest in holistic missions and is eager to bring evangelism and apologetics into the humanitarian space.

We’re so grateful for all that Tara brings to the Reboot team: her faith, her professionalism, and her heart for service. Reboot genuinely wouldn’t run as smoothly without her!
