Videographer and Editor

Are you a natural storyteller with a passion for communication through visual media? We are looking for a videographer with creative flair to create high quality, visually pleasing and effective audio-visual content in support of the organisation’s apologetics ministry.As a successful applicant, you will assist the team with technical and creative aspects of audio-visual production, including recording and editing content for a wide variety of media projects. You will work in studio and on location, filming pre-recorded and live events, and editing content for use across diverse channels. You will also maintain and organise our digital library of audio and video assets.

We are a registered Christian charity based in Oxford, with a collaborative working culture and welcoming atmosphere. You will join a small, dynamic team during an exciting period of transformation and development. As we kick off a number of new projects, you will contribute your creativity and technical expertise in shaping organisational identity and creating innovative content that makes a meaningful impact.

The key skills, qualifications and competencies that we are looking for are outlined below.

  • A recognized and relevant qualification in video production and editing, or equivalent experience;
  • A strong portfolio that demonstrates creative range, technical skill, and versatility across a range of media including broadcast and socials;
  • Proven ability to combine creative and critical thinking to craft compelling, fit-for-purpose media products
  • Good knowledge of current broadcast and social media delivery standards and trends;
  • Strong production skills including studio setup, camera operation, lighting, and audio recording;
  • Excellent video editing and post-production skills;
  • Advanced expertise in the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere, Photoshop and After Effects;
  • Committed to producing high quality, accurate work that shows attention to detail;
  • Highly organised and adaptable, willing to work on multiple deliverables in parallel and to deadlines;
  • A team player, with a pro-active approach, geared towards working in a collaborative environment.
