Are you an organised and flexible assistant who has experience in administrative tasks?

We have an exciting opportunity for a professional administrative assistant to join our team. The role is to provide a pivotal support service to OCCA public speakers and adjuncts.

OCCA is an Oxford-based charity that engages with questions of culture and equips people to confidently share their faith.

This is an integral and trusted role, supporting OCCA speakers and adjuncts to be as effective as they can be. As a successful applicant, you would be providing a range of administrative support, bringing a high level of competency and professionalism to diary management, communication, liaising with churches and other organisations who request speaking engagements, and other support. You will also have the opportunity to become a member of a stimulating Christian community.

To be successful in this role you will be someone who really enjoys administrative work; you will need to use your well-developed organisational skills and experience of dealing with conflicting and rapidly changing priorities and you must have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.

You will also have proven experience working in a similar administrative capacity, preferably for a team involved in public engagements and speaking events. You will be proficient in managing significant levels of written and verbal communication at a range of organisational levels and have excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise with external organisations. Experience of diary management (using Outlook,, CRM software, etc), coordinating meetings and organising logistics is highly desirable. You will be a team player with a flexible attitude but will also have the ability to work autonomously as well.

Salary: circa £28,608 to £32,608 (FTE) per annum pro-rata plus benefits (dependent on experience)
Hours: 24-40 hours per week (hours can be flexible within this range)
Location: Oxford
