Events and Training Coordinator (Maternity Cover)

Are you an organised and experienced coordinator, with experience in events and/or project management? Are you a committed Christian passionate about sharing the Christian message?

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for an Events and Training Coordinator (Maternity Cover) to join the team.

OCCA is an Oxford-based charity that engages with questions of culture and equips people to confidently share their faith.

To be successful in this role you will have significant proven experience working within an operational role involving service provision, organisation and forward-planning skills. Experience of planning or assisting in the delivery of conferences or events is essential, as you will be expected to manage your own workload effectively. You will be proficient in managing written and verbal communication at a range of organisational levels.

You will have the opportunity to use your well-developed interpersonal skills together with your ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders internally and externally. You will also be an effective negotiator, who is able to pragmatically solve problems.

You will be a team player but will also have the ability to work autonomously too. Experience of coordinating educational or training programmes, whilst not essential, would also be a distinct advantage.
