My year in the OCCA course proved to be pivotal in my life. The formal teaching enlarged my understanding of the gospel and transformed my views on evangelism. The ample opportunity for participating in missions gave me much needed practical experience.
Wendy Quay, Australia, OCCA 2006-7
Studying at the OCCA is a tremendous privilege for so many reasons. My memories are filled with the rich and wise words of Michael Ramsden, Alister McGrath, John Lennox and many others who brought great learning, humour and friendship to the course. To dedicate nine months to immersing myself in Christian apologetics at times felt indulgent (being my favourite subject!), but at others a real journey of faith: to come alongside other passionate evangelists from the four corners of the globe, and to learn so much about culture, philosophy, reason and ultimately God. I left Oxford a different person, equipped to answer old questions in new ways, and grateful for the opportunity God has provided.
Theo Brun, UK, OCCA 2009-10
What deeply engaged us was sharing in the worship and community life of Wycliffe Hall, and the quality of teaching, both from our core lecturers and from the many occasional lecturers who shared their love of the saviour and his word with us.
Graham Leo, Australia, OCCA 2007
When I heard about the OCCA the first thought that crossed my mind was ‘Finally! I will be studying what I really care about!’ OCCA is really exciting to me because it is a one of a kind programme training people in such an important field and by the top people in that field. I feel immensely blessed by OCCA.Diana Farhood, USA, OCCA 2010-11
It’s no exaggeration to say that my year at the OCCA was the most pivotal and significant of my life. I am still feeling the impact!
