“How do I answer that?” RZIM Europe Training Day, 24 March (Bedford)

Many Christians feel a strong desire to communicate the gospel to their non-believing friends, but few feel equipped or confident to do so. Our society is often hostile to the church and it can be difficult to know how best to approach some of the strong objections that people have about faith. What do we say, for example, to someone who suggests that the cross has no relevance to us today, or to someone who thinks that Christianity is just one of many equally valid religions?

Conversational apologetics is all about listening to the reasons why our friends and peers reject the idea of God, in order to begin to address their heart-felt questions. There are often many obstacles preventing people coming to faith and by providing answers to these, we can begin to help others see the gospel message more clearly.

“How do I answer that?” is a training day designed to give Christians a greater confidence to communicate what they believe without having to duck the hard questions. Michael Ramsden and Michelle Tepper are engaging speakers who, as well as helping to train believers, are used to commending and defending Christianity in a variety of evangelistic settings.

The event is being held at the King’s Arms Church in Bedford on 24 March and tickets are £16 each (or £13 for student/seniors/unwaged).
