Scholarships and Bursaries
The Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics wants to attract the very best of candidates regardless of their ability to pay. Finances, therefore, should not be the primary concern:
- A large proportion (often over 50%) of accepted applications receive partial or full scholarships
- Strong applications are therefore invited

The OCCA is actively pursuing additional partnerships to facilitate other global bursary opportunities. We can't therefore offer anything beyond those funds named above. However we have seen that strong well rounded applications are useful in the development of these partnerships. If God is calling you to OCCA, then he will find a way. Apply as early as possible if this is your situation.
General Suggestions for Financial Assistance
- We receive many requests for financial help.
- Take careful note of the spoken and written English requirements.
- Think carefully about what you will do after you finish the course. How are you going to serve? What are you actually going to do? Where are you going to do it? Are you being realistic? Why not explore the opportunities before you apply?
- Ask people around you to support you first. If those people who know you, and your particular gifting are willing to invest in you, then this is a good indication of a local recognition of your gifts.
- We love to partner with churches who have a vision to train and release new workers into the workplace and/or church. Have you discussed your plans with your local Christian leaders? What is their advice? What did they say?
- Explore your gifts properly. We will ask you to tell us about your journey through this process.
- Pray for God to open the right doors for you and what he wants you to do.
